《中国的污染》获人道主义摄影奖。2009年10月14日晚上，第30届尤金史密斯人道主义纪实基金在美国纽约美国亚洲协会举行隆重的颁奖仪式，来自中国的卢广以《关注中国污染》的专题摄影获得了尤金史密斯人道主义摄影奖。

这幅作品的注释是这样写道的：河南省舞钢市洪河边的赵庄村，66岁的赵丙坤04年患上食道癌，经过二次开刀，治疗费已达20余万元，病情进入晚期，每天在发烧，等待死亡 2009年4月7日。

时间在他脸上留下木刻般的痕迹，他仍年轻，他在等待死亡。

这四个字只有经历过才会知道是一种什么样的煎熬。

昨天收到一份EMAIL，很有感触。这张照片我寻觅了几乎有四年之久，倒不是很刻意地搜索，但看有关资料的时候总会留一份心。

四年前眼泪打转是因为觉得很可怜，四年后同样如此是因为我懂得老人的眼泪。
